ROOM CALL SYSTEM
The room call alarm detection system
Microcall is a system that allows both local and remote users to report alarms detected by any type of contact, such as bedhead keypads, pushbuttons or bathroom pulls. The system can automatically handle the silencing or escalation of alarms. There are several static signaling states available, including alarm, presence, and panic, which can be activated through the management of normal buttons connected to alarm inputs.
The Informo IP system fully integrates with Microcall, allowing reports to be sent to any supported remote device. This feature provides the services that the platform can manage, such as shift management and alarm reports. Additionally, the system can provide timely evidence of intervention times in case of alarms and verification of control activities (patrols) in rooms, even in the absence of alerts.
Technological Advantages:
- Its architecture allows the connection of several rooms through the implementation of a communication bus + power supply (SmartBus) using a single CAT5/6 cable
- Up to 30 devices/rooms connected in parallel can be connected through SmartBus
- The power supply and communication driver are provided through the Microcall Loop DRV gateway device
- The same connection cable can also be used to power local loads (e.g., out-of-door lamps); however, special attention must be paid to losses (voltage drop) that may affect system operation
