The DECT phone model d83 is an enterprise-grade handset that integrates seamlessly with any existing infrastructure ensuring maximum voice quality, robustness and reliability along with a high degree of protection against any infiltration.

It is resistant to shock, vibration, drops, temperature extremes and chemicals.
It features a large color TFT display, 3.5 mm headset jack, Bluetooth and speakerphone.

The d83 also offers an advanced messaging service featuring priority and color, and handles typical alarm features for lone worker monitoring: alarm button, Man Down, No Movement, and emergency pull.
To enhance service, it can be supplied with a special swivel clip that can be clipped to a belt or breast pocket.

Ascom’s d83 is equipped with long-life replaceable Li-ion type 3.7 V, 920 mAh battery: talk time up to 10 hours and standby time up to 120 hours, maximum charging time of 4 hours.

Also of this model, as with d63, there are 3 versions: Talker, Messenger and Protector. In the Messenger and Protector models, it is possible to have the ATEX version for use in high-explosive environments.
