When the spectacular nature of the land challenges communication

Positano is one of the most fascinating places in our country, an area of extraordinary beauty, yet complex from an infrastructural standpoint. The very morphology that enchants visitors – steep elevation changes, cliffside buildings, historic architecture set between rock and gardens – makes it difficult to ensure reliable cellular communication.

In this context operates Hotel Palazzo Murat, a high-profile property where service excellence allows no compromise. Traditional solutions, based on GSM networks or consumer radio systems, had proven insufficient in the most critical areas, making clear the need for a communication infrastructure designed to adapt to the building’s actual layout.

The solution

To meet these needs, we proposed to the hotel an on-call communication platform designed as an integral part of the complex’s technical infrastructure, capable of ensuring service continuity even within such an articulated architectural context.

The implemented TECNEL solution is based on INFORMO IP LITE:

  • Centralized message management via a web interface, accessible from PC, smartphone, and tablet
  • Central server for routing communications and managing operational workflows
  • Dedicated radio transmission to the pager devices used by staff
  • Custom design and on-site validation of antenna placement to ensure coverage even in critical areas

Thanks to this intervention, Hotel Palazzo Murat can now rely on an internal communication infrastructure designed to operate without interruptions, in a setting where the natural landscape does not facilitate signal transmission.

Thanks to radio wave technology, message delivery is ensured even in areas with limited mobile signal
