The WBS Kit is a wireless patient call station designed for managing bedside assistance requests in health and care facilities.
The system allows the patient to send an emergency call easily and immediately, providing staff with quick and reliable notification without the need for wiring.
The system consists of WBS radio transmitting device, call bead and TREX receiving device, which work together to ensure business continuity and mobility for operators.
System operation
The WBS radio device, which is installed near the bedside, is activated by the patient via connected perella.
When the call is triggered, the WBS radios an alarm directly to the associated TREX device or D-TECT / REPO+II signal receivers/repeaters, depending on the system configuration.
When an alarm is received, the TREX device beeps and displays the ID of the bed station that generated the call on the display, enabling immediate action.
The alert remains active until taken over by the operator using the dedicated key.
