Informo IP 3.0 Central System

Advanced Access Control

INFORMO IP, the heart of the system, processes events or alarms and delivers the related notifications on the move.

TECNEL’s Informo IP central unit is the heart of the system. It processes alerts, alarms, and communications and delivers mobile notifications related to any monitored event that occurs. The system enables real-time information sharing, organization, and coordination of mobile workers across different operational contexts. Informo IP is a web-based, multi-device, multi-access platform.
Connection to peripheral units for data collection and alert delivery is handled through the device’s two LAN/WAN network ports. Native IP connectivity makes it possible to build flexible, multi-site systems that integrate with the existing network. Function configuration and access to the event history archive (e.g., triggered alarms, notification delivery) are performed via a web browser, without the need for dedicated programming software. Each report contains information about every event that occurred and the response actions that were taken. Activities are logged locally and remain available for consultation at any time.
Secure (encrypted) access (TLS RSA AES – 128-bit) is granted via credentials assigned to “supervisor” users, and specific user profiles can be created to restrict access to sensitive information (e.g., reports/sent alarms.
Informo IP’s modular license management is handled via a USB hardware key that must always be connected to the device.
Operation
Informo IP collects different types of alerts through multiple input channels (input modules), processes the information according to operational needs (e.g., staff shifts, alarm escalation, workgroups), and then notifies the event through output channels (output modules).
Its IP-based architecture enables the creation of large, distributed systems with no geographic area limits: any portable device—regardless of the site it is located in—receives the information, which can be delivered in different formats (e.g., SMS, email, voice message).
